Bad Romance

I am living for Lady GaGa's new video for Bad Romance.  I have no idea if she has the staying power of Michael Jackson or Madonna but, in my opinion, she is a much more worthy successor to M's crown than any pop princess before her.

When an artist makes a video that becomes an event they most definitely get my attention.  Yesterday, the internet was ablaze with people talking about GaGa's new video and everything I read was positive.  When does that happen anymore?!  I can't believe I'm saying this but Madonna's last great video was Hung Up.  I'm still waiting for her to give me something amazing like she used to!  I mean, the Celebration video was hot...but not groundbreaking.

It really bothers me when music videos are thrown together for no apparent reason at all.  To me, music is more than music...it's visual.  Therefore, the video should be a worthy representation of the song.

Anyway, I'm stepping off my soapbox.
