Is it weird that my favorite part of the whole video is where her teeth snap along to the beat?  It's right around the 6:50 minute mark.  LOVE it.

I guess I could prattle on for ages about this video but it seems the entire world has already prattled for me.

Monsoon

It is absolutely soaking wet, monsoon-like, flood warning, ridiculous rain outside right now in NYC.  It started yesterday and apparently it's going to rain till Monday.  Wow.  This was the view from underneath my umbrella on my way home from work.  It hardly captures the madness that is going on outside.  I nearly got blown away to Jersey when I got off the train by my house.

I have to admit something, though.  I kinda like it when the city has to deal with something like this.  Something like a blizzard, or ridiculously heavy rainfall, or a steaming hot summer weekend.  These circumstances create a sense of community around the city that is oddly comforting.  Basically, we're all going through this together.  It's kinda nice.

Saw this on my way home from work :)

I'm back.

And I mean it this time.  No joking.  No exclamation point needed to spice up the title of this entry.  Just a sensible period.  Look how serious that "I'm back." looks.  I'm not kidding around here, people.  I mean business.

Too much has happened in the past few months to do a recap right now.  If I feel inspired to do so I might take a little "Lost" inspired trip back to some amazing event which took place during my return to NYC since tour...but that was nearly a year ago and A LOT has happened.

Let's celebrate the return with a video, ok?
